Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the last couple weeks.

The girls enjoyed painting a white T-shirt:

On the T-shirt, Savannah painted "I love my family so much:"

Last week our family got "booed." One of Savannah's neighborhood friends left a basket filled with Halloween treats on our front porch. The girls and I continued the boo game by putting together two Halloween treat baskets and delivering them to two neighbors:

The girls loved "booing" two of our neighbors. They left a Halloween basket at the front door, rang the doorbell, and ran away:

Last week our family enjoyed having Grandma Barbara, Gran, and Granddaddy stay with us for a few days while Gran had surgery and recovered at our house:

On the evening before Gran's surgery, all of us got an after-dinner treat at Krispy Kreme. Gran and the girls enjoyed watching the donuts go through the glazing machine:

Grandma Barbara got Savannah and Hadley (and their cousin Harper) these matching shirts that sum up our family:"The family that celebrates together...has fun forever."

In October, Grandma Barbara gave Hadley some birthday hugs...

...and brought her birthday gift...a Play-doh kitchen!

Grandma Barbara also brought some pens, markers, and paper for the girls, who love school supplies:

The girls asked me to take a picture of their coordinating outfits. They are wearing their "fall uniform." Almost every day, they wear a dress with leggings, boots, and jean jacket:

Savannah was delighted when Grandma Barbara gave her $20 to spend at our school's Book Fair. She bought the two books below:

Also, the PTA allowed Savannah to choose a free book from the Book Fair because she stapled 600 Book Fair flyers and schedules and helped me put them in teachers' mailboxes:

Savannah and Hadley got haircuts this week, and I love their new hairstyles!

On Saturday morning, our family participated in the Home Depot Kids Workshop. Savannah and Hadley assembled and painted helicopters in honor of Veterans Day:

At the Kids Workshop, Savannah unfortunately hit her thumb with a hammer, and her thumb turned purple:

Hadley looked adorable lifting weights at Target:

Over the last 6 weeks, Savannah has been participating in our school Readvolution's reading program. She has been logging her reading time each day, and this week she met her reading goal. She has read 800 minutes/13 hours over the last 6 weeks. As her reward, she will receive two free tickets to a Carolina Hurricanes hockey game!

Yesterday our family enjoyed going to a 90th birthday party for Tal's Granddaddy:
Savannah, Tal, Hadley, and Granddaddy

Tal and his Granddaddy have the same name:

There were over 100 guests at the party:
