Back to School

After four weeks of summer vacation with Grandma Barbara and Grandma Judy, Hadley started second grade this week! Hadley is excited to be a "big kid" since her classroom is upstairs with the older students. Hadley's favorite subjects are math and PE. She is excited to practice her multiplication facts and read more chapter books.

Summer Vacation 2022: Part 3

During the rest of our summer vacation, the girls and I (along with Grandma Judy) visited the azalea garden, the sunflower fields, a historic mill park, and the waterfall park. We miss Grandma Judy already and look forward to seeing her again this fall.

Summer Vacation 2022: Part 1

For our summer vacation, the girls and I spent a few days relaxing at Wrightsville Beach with Grandma Judy. We only see Grandma Judy a couple times each year, so we treasure our time with her. When we arrived at the beach, we ate lunch at The Oceanic, which overlooks the ocean. Over the next few days, we enjoyed walking on the beach, hanging out on our hotel balcony and at the pool, and watching movies.

4th of July Weekend

As a belated Father's Day gift to Tal, our family (including Grandma Barbara) enjoyed cheering for the Carolina Mudcats as they won 5-2 against the Hummingbirds. We had great seats behind home plate. We ate ballpark food, including hot dogs, corn dogs, nachos, and soft pretzels. It was an entertaining and family friendly evening filled with baseball, music, dances, and games. After the game, we watched the beautiful fireworks, and then Tal and Hadley ran around the bases.
