Check out Savannah reading to Hadley at bedtime:
Currently, these are Hadley's favorite books...
that she asks me to read repeatedly each night:
Hadley also loves the funny faces at the end of this book:
Hadley likes to make these silly faces when we read the book above:
Hadley loved wearing Savannah's rain boots (on the wrong feet):
As I've mentioned before, Hadley is a climber and a daredevil. This week she figured out how to climb inside our living room bookcases:
Savannah received a medal for completing another year (year 2) of gymnastics:
Savannah is so proud of her medal:
While Savannah was at gymnastics, Hadley and I tried the new chocolate chip frappe at McDonald's:
On February 18, Savannah and Tal will be going to the Daddy-Daughter Dance at our school. Last Wednesday, our family went to the mall, where Savannah tried on dresses for the dance:
After getting Savannah's dress, our family ate dinner in the food court...
...and the girls played on the merry-go-round:
...and in the mall play area:
While Tal was getting his hair cut last night, the girls and I visited the fish, cats, and snakes at the pet store next door:
Tal and I are trying to give Savannah monthly service opportunities where she can cultivate a thankful and compassionate servant's heart. This afternoon Tal and Savannah served at the Food Bank of NC. Kids Day at the Food Bank is the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. It's a wonderful opportunity for Savannah to learn about hunger in our community. In two hours, Tal and Savannah (and about 150 other volunteers) bagged over 6,000 lbs of crackers to help ensure that no one goes hungry:
