Curb Appeal Chronicles: Part 3

Yesterday, Tal got a truck load of mulch ($39) from the landfill (where yard waste is converted to mulch). 

Tal spent a couple hours spreading mulch around the bushes in our front yard, including the boxwoods and gardenias that he planted a couple weeks ago:

Over the next week, Tal and I plan to wrap-up our curb appeal project by doing the following items on our to-do list:

• plant the 2 purple bougainvilleas (shown below) in the containers next to our front steps
• put down landscape fabric in the small flower bed to the right of the front steps
• put down mulch in the small flower bed
• plant 2-3 bushes in the small flower bed
