NC State Fair 2019

On October 17, our family had a wonderful time at the NC State Fair with Grandma Barbara and my niece Harper. It was opening day, and we were at the gates when the fair opened at noon. For four hours, we enjoyed riding the rides, eating fair food, and visiting the exhibits. Going to the fair is one of our favorite fall events. We look forward to going to the fair again next year!
Crazy Cousins Hadley (5), Harper (6), and Savannah (10)

We ate ice cream produced at NC State University, a funnel cake, deep fried Reese's cups, corn dogs, cheese steaks, nachos, lemonade, and crack mac 'n cheese.

The crack mac 'n chese was topped with turkey BBQ and BBQ sauce:

By the end of the day, our feet were tired. For the first time ever, we rode the State Fair Flyer back to the fair entrance and enjoyed seeing a bird's eye view of the fair. Hadley and I rode in the chair lift behind Grandma Barbara and Harper (who were in the yellow chair lift pictured below). Tal and Savannah rode behind me and Hadley.
