It took 18 hours and 4 adults to complete, but Savannah's playset is done!
Most importantly, Savannah loves it!
When we started on Sunday morning,
this is what the playset looked like:
To save time, Barbara put all of the remaining parts in alphabetical order on our deck.
Do you see Savannah peeking through the window?
Adding the clubhouse walls
Installing the clubhouse windows
Assembling the clubhouse sunburst
Adding the roof
Putting on the clubhouse sunburst
Adding the roof boards
Savannah playing peek-a-boo
Boxing in the sandbox
Building the picnic table
Savannah using the picnic table for the first time!
Attaching the slide
Going down the slide for the first time!
Attaching the swing beam
Hanging the swings
The playset is done!
Building the playset was tedious, challenging, and time consuming...even for 4 adults with extensive construction experience. Tal and I never could've built Savannah's playset on our own,
so we're thankful to Uncle Kenny, Grandma Barbara, and Uncle Benny for their help.
Savannah's playset will bring her many hours of exercise, enjoyment, and imagination for many years to come!
