Savannah's First Ferry Ride

On April 3, Savannah rode a ferry for the first time!

During our day trip along the coast of NC, 

Savannah, Grandma Judy, Ms. Mary, and I 

boarded the ferry at Fort Fisher:

During our 30-minute ride from Fort Fisher to Southport,

 we got out of our car and walked around the ferry:

Southport, NC is a lovely waterfront 

town where we ate lunch and went shopping:

In Southport, the four of us ate lunch at the Yacht Basin, 

which was located on the waterfront:

We topped off our lunch (and day trip) with 

some yummy cheesecake and cannolis for dessert!
