Last weekend, Savannah took her first airplane ride! Our family flew to Illinois for my grandma's 95th birthday celebration.
In the airports, Savannah enjoyed riding the people movers and watching the planes (which she called "buses") through the window.
During the flight, Savannah liked sitting on Daddy's lap and looking out the window.
It didn't take long, however, for Savannah to fall sleep.
After she woke up, Savannah only had one short crying spell. Other than that, she was wonderful and garnered compliments from other passengers on her good behavior.
On our return flight to NC, there were plenty of empty seats. Savannah got to be a big girl and sit in her own seat.
However, soon after take-off, Savannah crawled into Tal's arms and slept for most of the flight.
Savannah was a real trooper during our long travel days. Tal and I are thankful that she was such a good sport!
