Tal and I got a good report when we went to the OB today.We heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time through the use of a Fetal Doppler. At 157 beats per minute, the baby's heart was normal and sounded like a galloping horse. I'm excited that I only have a few days remaining in my first trimester. Hearing the baby's heartbeat today reassured me that my chances of miscarriage from now on are small.
Our next OB appointment is on May 19. If the baby cooperates, we'll find out if we're having a boy or a girl! Tal and I can't wait to find out the baby's gender, so we can announce the baby's name, as well as start painting and decorating the nursery!
