Happy Easter

Easter was different this year due to the global pandemic and stay-at-home orders. Instead of dressing up in pretty outfits and going to church, our family stayed at home and watched church online. Also, Savannah and Hadley loved having an indoor Easter egg hunt. They ran around and looked for 200 eggs that Hadley and I had scattered around the downstairs and upstairs of our house.

The girls each filled two baskets with eggs!

After the egg hunt, the girls emptied their eggs at the kitchen table. We Facetimed with Grandma Judy, Grandma Barbara, and Gran, so they could spend Easter with us and share in the girls' excitement while they opened their eggs.

The eggs were filled with candy and quarters. Savannah found $12 in quarters. Hadley found $8.

After the girls counted their coins, Tal and I gave them dollars for their coins since our bank is drive-thru only due to the coronavirus (and the Coinstar machine is unavailable).

After the Easter egg hunt, we ate lasagna from Tal's favorite Italian restaurant. Yum!
