Love a Fair

On October 13, Savannah, Grandma Judy, Donna, and I visited the NC State Fair. With warm and sunny weather, it was a perfect day for visiting the exhibits, riding the rides, and sampling various foods. 

At 36 inches tall, Savannah was tall enough to go on the rides all by herself!

Just for fun, Grandma Judy and I rode a couple rides with Savannah:

After riding several rides, Grandma Judy, Donna,and I ate steak sandwiches for dinner,while Savannah gobbled up a chili cheeseburger:

For dessert, we all shared some delicious deep fried pecan pie. 

As the name suggests, a slice of pecan pie is dipped in tempura batter and fried until golden brown.
