Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the last couple weeks.

Savannah is tracked-out from school for three weeks and has been staying with Grandma Barbara. We miss Savannah, but we know she is getting lots of love and having fun with Grandma Barbara and Gran, as well as Uncle Benny, Aunt EJ, and Harper. Savannah watched a YouTube video and taught herself a new friendship bracelet/necklace technique:

Savannah helped Grandma Barbara paint her dining room and living room:

After dinner one night, Tal, Hadley, and I picked-up a dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme. Hadley selected two strawberry donuts with sprinkles!

Last Saturday, Hadley and I had a girls day, while Tal went golfing with his F3 buddies. We ate lunch at Mod Pizza...

...and then played at the park in our neighborhood. It was a beautiful winter day in the 70's!

This weekend Hadley washed her blankets and then transferred them to the dryer with minimal assistance. I added the laundry detergent and showed Hadley where to turn the dial and which buttons to push since she can't read the words yet.  Hadley was eager to help and showed a lot of independence!

After Hadley removed her blankets from the dryer, she covered up herself and said, "I love my blankets so much. They are so soft and warm and cozy."

On Friday, Hadley visited a pediatric opthamologist. We got Hadley's eye prescription and learned that she has astigmatism and nearsightedness. On Saturday, we ordered Hadley's glasses (shown below) from Target. Hadley will get her new glasses in a couple weeks!

Today Hadley and I made stromboli for lunch. I rolled out the pizza dough and sprinkled the sausage, while Hadley spread the sauce, added some pepperoni, and sprinkled the cheese. Then, we folded the dough and baked the stromboli in the oven. Yummy!
