Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the past week.

School was closed on Thursday and Friday this week due to Hurricane Dorian. Thankfully, the hurricane didn't impact our area, so the girls and I enjoyed shopping and going out for lunch both days. On Thursday, we ate lunch at a Chinese buffet. Hadley misses her former babysitter Hiroko's Japanese cooking and asks for rice and noodles every day (seriously). Hadley stuffed herself with rice, noodles, sushi, and dumplings. She was a happy girl!

Hadley used some of her chore money to buy shaving cream, glue, and contact solution for slime. The girls have made several batches of slime over the last few days!

Although the pool has closed for the season, the weather is still warm, so the girls have enjoyed playing with the water hose in our front yard:

Gas is $1.99 in our neighborhood. Hopefully, gas prices will be this low when we go on our two road trips over the next month:

Due to Labor Day and Hurricane Dorian, Hadley went to school two days this week. Below are some preschool highlights:
