Summer Vacation 2018: Part 2 (Sunflower Field)
This afternoon the girls and I took Grandma Judy and Miss Mary to see the sunflower field in downtown Raleigh. Last spring the City of Raleigh planted five acres of sunflowers. The sunflowers bloom during the first couple weeks of July and then are harvested for biodiesel fuel. We enjoyed walking through the fields of sunflowers and orange flowers!
