Everyday Moments

Random phone photos from everyday life

On cold winter weekends, Hadley loved tumbling during open gym.

Hadley loved reading books to Savannah.

On February 26, Tal and Savannah attended the NC State vs UNC basketball game with Uncle Benny and cousin Brandi. Sadly, NC State lost the game, but it was a fun Daddy-Daughter date for Tal and Savannah.

While Tal and Savannah were at the NC State basketball game, Hadley and I had a girls day. Hadley selected Mod Pizza for our lunch date and Crumbl Cookies for dessert.

With higher gas prices, Tal paid $4.16 a gallon and $125 to fill up his truck. Ouch!

Hadley thought it was hilarious to sit in the bathroom sink!

The girls asked me to braid their hair, so their hair would be wavy the next day.

For the last two years, the girls and I were required to wear masks at school due to the pandemic. On March 7, masks became optional, and parents were allowed inside school. For the first time ever, Tal and I were able to eat lunch with Hadley in the cafeteria. Hadley was ecstatic when Tal brought McDonald's for lunch. (Parents are not allowed to eat with students at Savannah's school, but Tal dropped off McDonald's for her at school.)

The next day, I picked up chicken fingers from PDQ and ate lunch with Hadley. Hadley was a happy girl!

Spring Haven Farm

Today the girls and I visited Spring Haven Farm with our friends Amanda and Tyson. We enjoyed seeing the turkey and pheasants, as well as petting and feeding the horses, chickens, rabbit, pot-bellied pig, Highland cows, and baby goats. Hadley loved holding the baby goats!

Check out the Highland cow's long tongue!

Tooth Fairy

Hadley lost a front tooth! She has lost 6 teeth...2 on the top and 4 on the bottom. Hadley was excited when the tooth fairy left $5 under her pillow!

New Glasses

Hadley got new glasses! Hadley changed from dark frames to light frames. I think the lighter, crystal beige frames compliment Hadley's hair and complexion and highlight her freckles and blue eyes.
