Everyday Moments

Hadley at her school's Field Day

The girls took turns putting makeup on each other.

On Halloween, Hadley dressed up as a cheerleading and went trick or treating in our neighborhood with Tal.

On Halloween, Savannah passed at candy to the trick or treaters.

Hadley surprised Savannah by knocking on our front door and saying "trick or treat."

Playing in the fall leaves

I forgot to post this photo of our family on the Great Ocean Road outside Melbourne, Australia in November 2023.

Over 9 weeks, Hadley participated in Run Club on Wednesdays from 7:15-7:40 A.M. at school. Hadley's goal was to run 26.2 miles. On November 30, Hadley ran in our school's 5K race to celebrate the end of fall Run Club.

On December 1, Hadley danced to three holiday songs in our church's Christmas program called Jingle Jam.

On December 5, Savannah sang three songs in her school's Christmas chorus concert.

This fall and winter, Savannah is cheering at her school's varsity girls' and boys' basketball games.

On December 16, the girls and I hiked at Yates Mill Park with our friends Tyson and Amanda

Then, we ate at Howling Cow Ice Cream. Yum!

In February, Hadley will be getting her braces removed! Last week she selected a pink marble retainer with a dolphin sticker.

On Christmas Eve, our family hiked 1.6 miles at the park. It was a beautiful winter day!

Christmas 2023

This weekend we celebrated Christmas at the beach. We enjoyed eating oysters, shrimp, and prime rib and opening many thoughtful gifts. We are thankful for the love and laughter in our family!

Cousins

For this fun game, there were numbered red Solo cups filled with prizes. We rolled the dice for money, candy, and toys.

Savannah and Hadley received lighted money trees from Aunt EJ that included cash and lottery tickets.

Sisterly love

Savannah, Hadley, and Harper were excited to get Lululemon bags from Grandma Barbara.

I made 2024 photo calendars for Gran and Grandma Barbara.

Hadley got a new school backpack from Grandma Barbara.

On our way home from the beach, we stopped at Brock Mill Pond.

The mill was built in the 1700s.

On Christmas Day, we celebrated a low-key holiday at home. We slept late, opened presents, ate a turkey lunch, and lounged the rest of the day.
