100th Day of School

To celebrate her 100th day of school, Hadley dressed up as a 100-year-old grandma going to church...in honor of her real-life Gran who is 106 years old. Hadley wore a dress, sweater, and high heels, as well as carried her Bible, put her hair in a bun, and sprayed her hair gray.  Hadley loved seeing her teachers and classmates dressed up as grandmas and grandpas. It was a fun day!

Spa Day

This weekend our family celebrated Savannah's 13th birthday with Grandma Barbara, Uncle Benny, Aunt EJ, and my niece Harper. For her birthday activity, Savannah requested a girls' day at the spa. The 6 of us girls loved relaxing, pampering ourselves, and selecting our nail colors while we got manis and pedis. Going to the spa is a rare treat!

For her birthday lunch, Savannah selected the restaurant Red Hot, and Blue. After the spa, all 8 of us enjoyed eating pulled pork, ribs, and brisket to celebrate Savannah and her special day.

For her birthday dessert, Savannah wanted to make her birthday cake (with some help from Hadley).

Savannah baked a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and added 13 candles.

Savannah is 13!

Happy 13th Birthday, Savannah! We have a teenager in our family! Savannah is 5 feet 4 inches tall and a 7th grade honor roll student with braces and contacts. She is creative, organized, and responsible. She enjoys making craft projects, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and listening to music. We love you, Savannah!
