Apple Weekend: Part 2 (Apple Picking)

On Saturday, September 9, the girls and I (along with our friends Amanda and Tyson) had a wonderful time apple picking at Sky Top Orchard in Flat Rock, NC.


Sky Top Orchard is a working farm that grows 22 varieties of apples on 100 acres. The five of us had an authentic apple picking experience at Sky Top. We got lots of exercise walking up and down the hills and picking gala, red delicious, golden delicious, and mutsu apples in the orchard. We were hot, sweaty, and tired after filling a basket of apples. 


Sky Top didn't charge an admission fee, but we paid $20 to fill a basket of apples:
