Apple Weekend: Part 1 (Pool and Pizza)

Last weekend the girls and I enjoyed apple picking in the mountains of NC with our friends Amanda and Tyson. On Saturday, September 8, we drove two hours and then stopped at a rest area, where we ate a picnic lunch and let the kids run around:

After eating lunch, we drove two hours to Asheville and checked into our hotel. We enjoyed swimming in the hotel's outdoor pool. We had the pool to ourselves, and the water was warm like bath water! 

The kids and I held onto each other and pretended we were a choo-choo train, while we swam across the pool:

After swimming, we ate dinner at Little Caesar's. Savannah and Hadley don't eat pizza and soda often, so this was a treat for them!
