Coronavirus Chronicles: Part 16

Hadley finished her first quarter of Kindergarten and is tracked out until October 19. During the first quarter, Hadley came to school with me, but she attended live Google Meets and completed her Google Classroom assignments in the staff childcare program.

On Mondays, our school had Move It Monday. During our lunch break, Hadley and I walked around the inside of our school and got some fresh air outside.

Last week I launched the Books to Go program at my school. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, students can return and pick up their library books outside our school entrance. Thanks to Tal for cutting the hole in the blue book return box below.

Hadley created a baby carrier by stuffing her doll inside her hoodie. She loved walking around with her baby carrier. So cute!

One night Hadley crawled out of her bed, spread her pillow and blankets outside the bonus room, and fell asleep. Tal carried Hadley to her bed.

Hadley got some birthday hugs from Grandma Barbara during our family's RV mountain trip last weekend.

Harper and Hadley colored in the camper last weekend.

In August, our family spent way too much money at Target. In September, we banned ourselves from Target and implemented a No-Spend September at Target. Our goal was to save money, as well as practice patience and self-control. This week the girls were excited to visit Target and spend their money. Hadley used her birthday and chore money to buy a unicorn blanket, headphones, slime, and a cat unicorn mermaid stuffie.

Savannah used her chore money to buy Mini Brands, a headband, and another toy.

Savannah ordered her new glasses this week. She wanted her new glasses to resemble her current glasses, so she selected neutral frames with some turquoise.

Hadley drew some colorful pictures of hearts, clouds, and houses and taped them to her bedroom door:

This week Hadley was so brave when she visited the dermatologist and had a wart removed from the bottom of her foot.
