Sunflower Field

This evening Grandma Judy and I did a photoshoot with the girls in the sunflower field. In the spring, the city planted five acres of sunflowers. The sunflowers bloom two weeks in July. Then, they are harvested and used for biodiesel fuel.

When we were there, the sunflower field, which was free and open to the public, was very crowded with people but was still a colorful and beautiful sight in the center of our city.
