Cookie Houses

This afternoon the girls and I enjoyed making cookie houses at the public library in our neighborhood with our friends Amanda and Tyson. The library staff provided all of the supplies, and as well as did all of the set-up and clean-up. 

To build their houses, the kids used frosting to attach graham crackers to an empty milk carton. Then, they decorated their houses with candy canes, licorice, fruit loops, pretzels, and marshmallows. Making cookie houses was a fun way to celebrate the holiday season with our friends!
