Savannah's Tween Bedroom Makeover

Savannah's tween bedroom makeover is done! 

After having the same bedroom for the last seven years, Savannah was ready for a change. She requested a turquoise and purple bedroom that will grow with her in middle school and high school.

We painted her room, changed the bedding, and added new wall art. We reused the furniture, curtains, and rug, as well reused/repainted some of the accessories. Savannah loves her updated bedroom, which reflects her current needs and interests!

We repainted Savannah's monogram dark purple to coordinate with her bedding:

 

For wall art, Savannah picked out two action photos of her on the beach, which we turned into large canvases. Above her dresser, we hung a canvas of Savannah jumping off the lifeguard stand at Wrightsville Beach.

Above her bookcase, we hung a canvas of Savannah jumping on the beach during our Outer Banks vacation:
