Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the last week.

Tal's Granddaddy Harold passed away in November 2019. For years, Granddaddy made jelly and then gave us jars for Christmas. This week we thought about Granddaddy when we opened the last jar of jelly that he made for us. Tal said he'll be right sad when he finishes the jelly.
This week the girls and I wrapped up the last week of our two-week staycation. Our staycation was a wonderful balance of fun, productivity, and relaxation. Hadley and I go back to school and reality tomorrow.
The girls made semi-homemade apple turnovers and cookies.
On Monday, the girls and I played in the mall play area and then ate lunch in the food court.
After lunch, the girls played at four playgrounds. It was 75 degrees outside, so it was a beautiful day to get some fresh air, sunshine, and exercise.
On New Year's Eve, Tal had the day off from work, so we enjoyed having a family day. We took Hadley to the eye doctor and found out that she needs glasses. In a couple weeks, Hadley has another eye appointment to get her prescription and get fitted for glasses. After Hadley's eye appointment, we went to Starbucks, where Savannah got a white chocolate mocha frappuccino, and Hadley got a strawberry frappuccino.
After Starbucks, the girls played on the playground:
At sunset, we rang in 2020 by lighting sparklers and smoke balls:
On New Year's Day, Tal and I painted the girls' Jack and Jill bathroom. We painted it the same color as Savannah's bedroom (Tidewater by Sherwin Williams). The girls requested a mermaid bathroom, so we will be changing the shower curtain and adding some wall art in the coming months.

Over the last week, Savannah has been putting together a 300-piece popsicle puzzle that she received for Christmas. On New Year's Day, Tal and I helped Savannah finish the puzzle!

Daddy's Girls
On Thursday, the girls had a lazy morning in their pajamas. Hadley snuggled with her blankets and puppy on the couch.
Then, the girls and I ate lunch at a Chinese buffet. We stuffed ourselves with rice, noodles, sushi, and egg rolls. Yum!
The girls discovered a new craft: slimy sand! It's fluffy and doesn't stick to your hands like slime does. The girls made hearts, butterflies, and unicorns with sand molds and tools.
On Friday, the girls and I played with our friends Amanda and Tyson at Marbles Kids Museum.
Savannah the paramedic, Hadley the patient
Hadley the Veterinarian
Savannah used the green screen and teleprompter to deliver the weather forecast (in the upper right hand corner).
This weekend we enjoyed having Grandma Barbara and Gran stay with us. On Saturday, the girls made mini hockey games at the Home Depot Kids Workshop. They nailed and glued the pieces together and then added stickers.
On Saturday night, Savannah and Hadley played the game Guess Who with Gran.
Gran braided Savannah's hair.
Savannah checked-out some library books to read while she is at Grandma Barbara's house. Savannah's goal is to read five books while she is tracked-out from school. So far, she has read two books!
