This evening our family enjoyed celebrating Tal's 45th birthday (Oct 3) and Hadley's 4th birthday (Oct 10) at 42nd St Oyster Bar. Tal ate shrimp and grits, Savannah ate chicken fingers, and Hadley and I shared mahi mahi. (42nd St Oyster Bar is a special place to us. Twelve years ago, Tal asked me to marry him there, and we had our wedding rehearsal dinner there.)
After dinner, the restaurant gave us two FREE desserts...peanut butter pie and key lime pie. We enjoyed singing Happy Birthday to Tal and Hadley and watching them blow out their candles:
