IL Road Trip: Part 2 (Winter Wonderland)

On December 28, after spending the night in Lexington, KY, the girls and I drove 6 hours to central IL where my family lives. It was snowing when we arrived at my mom's house, and there were 5 inches of snow on the ground by the next morning.

During our stay in IL, it was bitter cold with temps around 5 degrees during the day and below zero at night. The girls and I aren't fans of snow or cold weather, but we tried to have positive attitudes and enjoy the Winter Wonderland!
