Today Savannah, Hadley, Grandma Barbara, and I walked around the state farmers market and bought a variety of cookies for Tal's birthday. Then, we went to Yates Mill Park, where we hiked one mile around the pond and visited the waterfalls at the historic grist mill. After the park, we ate chocolate chip cookie dough cream at Howling Cow on NC State's dairy farm. It was a fun day filled with fresh air, nature, exercise, and sweet treats!

An assortment of cookies from The Cookie People at the farmers market. Tal's favorite was the molasses cookie. Hadley loved the sugar cookie with sprinkles. Barbara's favorite was the German chocolate cookie. Savannah picked out the chocolate chip cookie. I chose the root beer cookie. Yum!
