On Taco Tuesday, our family ate $1 tacos and free chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood. We ate 4 chicken tacos and 4 beef tacos, and our bill was only $11 (including the tip):
One day after school, the girls and I went to McDonald's for an afternoon snack. The girls enjoyed playing in the outside play area, as well as sharing a mocha frappe and two apple pies:

On Friday night, the girls played in the mall play area, and then our family ate dinner in the mall food court:
For the 7th year in a row, the girls and I and Grandma Barbara went to the pumpkin farm on Teacher Appreciation weekend. Tal's mom and I are both teachers, so the admission was free for all of us! After three hours of sliding, jumping, and swinging at the pumpkin farm, Savannah and Grandma took a nap on our couch:
Thanks to Grandma Barbara for watching Savannah and Hadley tonight, so Tal and I could have a date night. We ate dinner at Carrabba's, where Tal and I had our first date more than 11 years ago.
Tal and I hadn't been to Carrabba's in about 6 years, so it was fun to reminisce about our first date, enjoy a leisurely meal, and eat tiramisu (our favorite!) for dessert:
