Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the last couple weeks.
For Hadley:
A beautiful painting by Hadley:
Uncle Benny, Aunt EJ, and Harper surprised Savannah and Hadley by sending them some wonderful gifts in the mail. Savannah received a math workbook for being the best big sister when Hadley got hurt last week. Hadley received a Doc McStuffins to cheer her up when she gets hurt or sick:
Uncle Benny, Aunt EJ, and Harper included some thoughtful notes with the gifts.
On another day, Hadley received this get well note from Gran and Grandaddy:
On Thursday afternoon, Hadley got her three stitches removed. She was a big girl and didn't cry at all!
Tal and Savannah wrestled and tickled one another on the couch:
Every couple weeks, I take the girls to the public library that's in our neighborhood (and right across the street from our school). Hadley enjoyed looking at some board books, while Savannah picked out some books to take home:
Hadley got her ears pierced when she was 4 months old. However, about a year ago, I removed Hadley's earrings because she took them out several times a day and even caused her ears to bleed many times when she took them out. Well, yesterday Hadley asked me to put in dangly earrings, and we discovered that her ear holes are still open!
Tal and I had our first date in 4 months. We went golfing 45 minutes outside of town. Tal teed off at 8 AM and played 18 holes in 2 hours:
While Tal played golf, I happily rode along in the golf cart, enjoyed some peace and quiet, and read three magazines:
After golfing, Tal and I went out to lunch at Macaroni Grill and had tiramisu (our favorite!) for dessert. It was a perfect day. We loved having some alone time, peace and quiet, relaxation, a leisurely meal, adult conversation, and even a short nap before we picked up our girls. Tal and I are planning to have another daytime date in a couple months!
