Yesterday Tal took Savannah and her friend Liza (who lives in the house behind ours) to the Food Bank of NC. The three of them helped bag 3,000 lbs of sweet potatoes, which will be given to 2,500 hungry families in our community this week:

While Tal, Savannah, and Liza served at the Food Bank, Hadley and I went to the pet store:

Hadley enjoyed looking at the fish and birds, but she enjoyed watching the cats most of all:

After Tal, Savannah, and Liza got back from the Food Bank, we all put on our swim suits and went swimming at Falls Lake for two hours:
