Hadley's Bedroom: Ikea Spice Racks as Bookshelves

In June 2016, Hadley, who was 20 months old, transitioned from her crib to a big girl bed. Last week Tal hung four bookcases where Hadley's crib used to be in her bedroom:

Actually, the bookshelves are the Beckvam Spice Racks from Ikea. They were a natural wood color, but Tal gave them a few coats of white paint:

The bookshelves are a pretty way to display Hadley's favorite books, including Goodnight Moon, Big Dog...Little Dog, and The Nose Book:

Tal mounted the shelves at Hadley's height, so she can pick out and put away her books easily:
