On February 18, Savannah and Tal will be going to the Daddy-Daughter Dance at our school. Last Wednesday, our family went to the mall, where Savannah tried on dresses for the dance:

Tal and I are trying to give Savannah monthly service opportunities where she can cultivate a thankful and compassionate servant's heart.This afternoon Tal and Savannah served at the Food Bank of NC. Kids Day at the Food Bank is the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. It's a wonderful opportunity for Savannah to learn about hunger in our community. In two hours, Tal and Savannah (and about 150 other volunteers) bagged over 6,000 lbs of crackers to help ensure that no one goes hungry:
