Master Bedroom Makeover: Part 4 (Rug)

Over the last few months, Tal and I have updated our master bedroom with curtains, bedding, and gallery wall. This evening we disassembled our bed and rolled out our new area rug. It's the Maui Jute Braided Rug from Rugs USA.

The problem is that I'm not sure if I like our new rug. I originally thought it would provide a neutral background against all of the color and pattern in the room. Plus, I thought a natural fiber rug would tie in with our room's coastal vibe. However, I'm concerned that our new rug might be too casual and boring for our space. What do you think?
