Tal's Birthday

 We celebrated Tal's birthday on October 3! Tal's mom and grandma ate dinner with us at Buffalo Brothers to celebrate Tal's special day. Tal loved the Memphis mac and cheese with BBQ sauce and pork!

Hadley V

The girls and I gave Tal some Tim Tams as a birthday gift. They are Tal's favorite cookies from Australia! 

Golden Birthday

Today is Hadley's Golden Birthday! #10 on 10-10. To celebrate, Savannah and I painted the Spirit Rock at Hadley's school. Welcome to the Double Digits Club, Hadley! 

For Hadley's birthday, Hadley invited her friend Aaliyah to come to Frankie's with us. We played mini golf, arcade games, and laser tag. Hadley and I each got a hole-in-one!

After Frankie's, our family ate lunch at Chick-fil-a, which was Hadley's choice for her birthday meal.

During Hadley's birthday week, I brought McDonald's and ate lunch with Hadley and two friends in the school cafeteria.

For her birthday treat, Hadley passed out Krispy Kreme donuts to her classmates.

Savannah and I painted the Spirit Rock at school. It was a 3-hour labor of love for Hadley! 

Summer Break 2024

Summer Break 2024 in Wrightsville Beach. For the last 25 years, my mom and I have vacationed together in Wrightsville Beach a couple times each year. Although my mom and I live 900 miles apart, we are thankful for 25 years of shared beach memories that have become part of our family history (and include Savannah and Hadley).

When we arrived in Wrightsville Beach, we ate lunch outside on the Oceanic pier.

After our beach vacation, we walked 2.6 miles around Lake Lynn with our friends Amanda and Linda.

Baseball Game

Our family went to a Carolina Mudcats baseball game. It was our school spirit night, and our principal threw the first pitch. We enjoyed seeing students from our school, and eating hot dogs, nachos, soft pretzels, and a funnel cake. The Mudcats won 4-2!

Mother's Day

 Celebrating Mother's Day and our 17th wedding anniversary!

Chincoteague Island

My birthday and Mother's Day gift from Tal and the girls was a weekend trip to Virginia with my lifelong friend Amanda. We relaxed on the beach in Cape Charles and stayed in a yellow cottage on the water on Chincoteague Island. Life has been stressful, so I'm thankful I was able to rest for a couple days.
