Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from this week.
One evening Tal, Savannah, and I took a bike ride around our street, which is a 1-mile circle. (Hadley was at Grandma Barbara's house this week):
On Wednesday morning, I went to Savannah's year-end celebration in her classroom. Savannah and her partner Gabriela showed me their public service announcement about water pollution that they created with Google Slides:
On Wednesday, I ate lunch in the cafeteria with Savannah for the last time in 3rd grade. (Unfortunately, next year we will different lunch times, so I will only be able to eat with her once a month...instead of every week.)
Due to field day on Wednesday afternoon, Savannah had "lunch" at 10:00 A.M. Since I had a workday, I picked up hot cakes and sausage from McDonald's for her during my lunch/planning period.
On Wednesday afternoon, Savannah had field day at school. She enjoyed playing tug of war, water activities, and relay races with her class.
Another evening, the three of us went swimming at the Y in our neighborhood. A couple weeks ago, we renewed our Y membership. Each year Tal receives $800 in wellness credit from his company, so this year we used Tal's wellness credit to pay for our Y membership for the remainder of 2018. Our family enjoys having access to the indoor/outdoor pools, gym facilities, and childcare. Savannah is excited that she is (finally) tall enough to slide down the water slide at the Y:
Tal on the water slide:
In May, the plumber cut a hole in our kitchen ceiling to repair a water leak. After the sheetrock was repaired, Tal sanded and painted the area:
In our upstairs loft area, Tal touched up an old water stain on our ceiling:
We recently got a security system installed at our house. We live in a safe neighborhood, but it gives us peace of mind to know that we have protection if needed:
