Last weekend, our family drove three hours to Salter Path, where we celebrated Savannah's 8th birthday and my niece Harper's 5th birthday. When we arrived on Friday night, Hadley was excited to swing on Gran and Grandaddy's porch:
Then, our extended family ate a seafood dinner at The Crab Shack, which is one of Tal's favorite restaurants. Hadley and Harper, who are 18 months apart, adore each other and loved giggling and hugging:

After dinner, we all gathered at Grandma Barbara's house, where Savannah and Harper opened their birthday gifts. Savannah loved the karaoke machine that she got from Uncle Benny, Aunt EJ, and Harper:
Harper starts kindergarten this fall, so we gave her a variety of easy reader books to help her read independently:

Then, Savannah, Harper, and Hadley put on their emoji pajamas and had a movie night and cousin sleepover in Grandma Barbara's living room. The girls piled on top of Tal:
Gran baked a delicious chocolate cake. We sang Happy Birthday to Savannah and Harper:
On Saturday, we had a girls day, while Tal and Benny went golfing:
Grandma Barbara and I took Savannah, Harper, and Hadley bowling:
Hadley carried her baby and carrier with her the whole day:
After bowling and golfing, Uncle Benny gave us a tour of their newly constructed home (shown below). If everything goes smoothly, Benny, EJ and Harper will be moving into their beautiful, new home next weekend. I loved the water views, natural light, and design finishes in their modern farmhouse!
Gran and Hadley were twins! Hadley thought it was hilarious that she and Gran were both wearing navy striped shirts. After the house tour, Gran gave Hadley some kisses before we headed home:
