Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the last couple weeks.

After we went strawberry picking a couple weeks ago, the girls enjoyed making strawberry smoothies:

After church on Sunday, the girls and I got some fresh air and burned off some energy at the park:

After going to the park, the girls enjoyed eating sno-cones:

Over the last year, Savannah has participated in the yearbook club at school. Her shirt says, "We're gonna crop it like it's hot."

The back says, "When life gets blurry, adjust your focus."
Can you find Savannah's name on the shirt?

Hadley enjoyed eating some watermelon gelato while Savannah was at gymnastics:

On May 4, Savannah and Hadley built Mother's Day boxes at the Home Depot Kids Workshop:

Hadley nailed many of the nails all by herself!

When we got home, the girls painted their boxes...

...and added stickers.
This is Hadley's Mother's Day box:

Savannah looks so grown up in her 4th grade school pictures:

This afternoon Hadley visited the allergy doctor and got tested for shellfish allergies. On her back, Hadley got pricked 10 times, and then we waited 15 minutes to see how her body would react to various kinds of shellfish. Although Hadley felt very itchy during the allergy testing (as expected), she was so brave! Based on the size of the welts on Hadley's back, the test showed that Hadley is very allergic to shrimp and shellfish (including crabs, clams, lobster, oysters, and scallops). Hadley will receive epi-pens for home and school. Also, the doctor signed off on Hadley's allergy care plan for preschool.
