Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the last couple weeks.

Savannah finished chapter book #19!

Over Memorial Day weekend, Hadley wore her ballerina dress at Tal's cousin's wedding:

At church on Sunday, Hadley said, "Mommy, take our picture:"

Last Sunday afternoon, my friend Amanda and I had a spa day as a birthday gift to ourselves. Amanda's birthday was on May 16. Mine was on May 18. Going to the spa was such a relaxing and luxurious experience. We got an hour-long pedicure and foot massage. We enjoyed the spa's dim and quiet atmosphere, where talking and cell phones were not allowed. After the spa, Amanda and I chatted over dinner at Moe's.

While Amanda and I were at the spa, Tal and the girls went swimming in the outdoor pool at the Y in our neighborhood. Savannah was excited that she was tall enough to go down the water slide!

On Memorial Day, our family went shopping for a bike for me at Dick's Sporting Goods. Savannah was 4 foot 8 inches tall. She is as tall as my shoulders!

After shopping on Memorial Day, Tal and I took the girls to McDonald's for lunch and play:

On Memorial Day, we took Savannah shopping for some new summer dresses for church. After we got home, Savannah modeled her dresses and asked me to take pictures of them:

Hadley is very particular about her clothes. She currently loves tank tops and was excited when she got two tanks (including the one below) at Old Navy:

Savannah fell off her bike in our driveway and banged up her elbow. Thankfully, a neighbor saw Savannah and rang our doorbell and told us about Savannah's accident:

On Memorial Day, the girls woke up at 6:30 A.M. but let me sleep until 7:30 A.M. When I got up, I found them snuggling in the living room recliner:

May was an expensive month for home repairs. First, we got our roof repaired after it was damaged during a storm. Then, our AC was out for 10 days. Finally, last Sunday, Tal and I woke up at 1:00 A.M. and discovered water leaking from our kitchen ceiling. We got the leak fixed and the hole patched in the ceiling. We still have to get our kitchen ceiling painted.

This evening our family enjoyed seeing Grandma Barbara, Gran, and Grandaddy at their hotel and going swimming in the hotel's outdoor pool:
