Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the last couple weeks.

This week Savannah enjoyed wearing some new dresses from Grandma Barbara! Below is the purple dress that Savannah wore to church on Sunday. (Also, notice how Hadley likes to push up one or both of her pant legs when she gets hot.)

Everyday the girls get the mail when we get home from school

On Wednesday, Savannah and I enjoyed spending the afternoon together! First, we ate lunch at Chick-fil-a:

Then, we got our teeth cleaned at the dentist:

The dental hygienist gave Savannah a token, which she used to get an emoji ball from the Treasure Tower:

Hadley painted shapes.
Do you see the triangles, circles, and squares?

Over the last two years, Tal and I have been purging our house. This weekend we purged five boxes of personal documents that we'd been storing in our guest bedroom closet in case we got audited. Look at all of the extra space we created in our closet!

This weekend we took our 5 boxes of personal documents to a free shredding event at a local business. All of our monthly bills, paper statements, old receipts, and owner's manuals from the last 5 years were shredded in front of us, as well as our old tax returns prior to 2011. After doing some research, Tal and I decided that we don't need to keep owner's manuals, medical records, or utility/bank/credit card statements...because we can access them online if needed. We have a special place in our house where we still keep important documents, such as mortgage loan documents, recent tax returns, birth certificates, and debts we've paid off. It felt so good to get rid of our old documents in a secure way!
