Everyday Moments

These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from this week.

Hadley wore the new shirt and slippers that she received for Christmas:

Savannah and Hadley made a fort in our living room:

Inside the fort:

Yesterday we had our first snow day of 2018, but we didn't get enough snow to play in.
Here's a view from our front door:

Yesterday the girls and I ventured out in the snow and ate lunch and played at Chick-fil-a:

After lunch at Chick-fil-a, we dropped off 5 bags of donations at Goodwill and then got ice cream from Dairy Queen:

Can  you believe the girls wanted to eat ice cream on a snowy day?!

This morning the girls and I went to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh:

When we were done, the girls and I ate lunch in the museum cafe:

After eating lunch today, the girls and I went to Marble Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh. The girls loved spending three hours playing, being creative, and getting some physical activity on a bitter cold winter day:

Driving the school bus (like Grandma Barbara)

Washing rocks

Cooking in the kitchen

Jumping on the trampoline

Climbing ladders

Dunking basketballs

Playing hockey

Playing in water

Savannah asked me to take her picture in front of 4 (out of 7) lighthouses along the coast of NC (Cape Lookout, Cape Hatteras, Ocracoke, and Bodie Island). Savannah's favorite lighthouse is Cape Lookout because it's located where Grandma Barbara lives:

After dinner tonight, our family got Krispy Kreme donuts for dessert:
