Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from this week.

Thursday, December 21 was Pajama Day/Polar Express Day/Track Out Day for Savannah. She is excited to be tracked-out (on vacation) from school for the next 4.5 weeks! This is Savannah's longest break of the school year, and she will go back to school on January 22.

Thanks to my students who gave me some Starbucks and Target gift cards for Christmas. Yesterday the girls and I enjoyed a free caramel frappe from Starbucks while we shopped at Target:

Last weekend our family won a $50 restaurant gift card at church. Yesterday our family used the gift card to eat a free (and yummy) lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse:

We had enough money left on the gift card ($7) to share a slice of tiramisu from Olive Garden after dinner last night:

Yesterday and today Savannah and her neighborhood friends Liza and Clark spent about four hours making Rainbow Loom rings, bracelets, and necklaces at our house:

It was 70 degrees outside today, so our family enjoyed playing at the beautiful new park in our neighborhood:

At the park, the girls LOVED going on the zip line countless times:

Hadley did a great job on the zip line by herself!

This evening our family went Piper's Lights, which is a local, family-run, drive through display with spectacular Christmas lights. Going to Piper's Lights is one of our favorite Christmas traditions!
