Myrtle Beach Weekend: Part 2 (Pirates Voyage)

On Friday, May 19, after we checked into our hotel, the 8 of us went to Pirates Voyage in Myrtle Beach. Our tickets included dinner and a show. While our family watched the blue pirates and the red pirates compete against each other for the treasure, we ate vegetable soup, chicken, corn on the cob, and potatoes for dinner and an apple turnover for dessert.

With the exception of a scary skeleton scene and some loud gunshots, the show was family-friendly, fast-paced, and entertaining.The show included mermaids, sea lions, birds, ducks, and dogs. We were impressed by the talented performers' acrobatic and diving skills.  The food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed the show!








After the show, Harper and Savannah picked out mermaid dolls as souvenirs:
