Everyday Moments

These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from the last couple weeks that I want to remember forever.

Hadley (2) loved wearing Tal's shoes...

...and playing inside the bathroom cabinet:

A sweet sisterly moment when Hadley sat on Savannah's lap and watched a movie for a few minutes:

Making brownies with Daddy:

Shopping at Walmart:

Hadley as a Power Ranger:

Water break after Savannah's gymnastics class:

Savannah got a 100% on her spelling test!

Playing in the mall play area:

Savannah put my hair in pigtails:

Kohl's didn't have a stroller or cart, so Hadley stood inside the clothes basket (with a metal platform bottom) while we shopped:

On Oct 8, our family fared well during Hurricane Matthew. We received 5 inches of rain in a few hours, but we didn't suffer any damage. Below are a few pictures of  flooded creeks in our neighborhood:

The ground was saturated after receiving so much rain, and this tree in our neighborhood toppled over:

Thanks to Uncle Benny, Aunt EJ, and Harper for the magnetic puzzle that they gave Hadley for her 2nd birthday. It has given her hours of enjoyment!

Thanks to Grandma Barbara for the adorable outfit that she gave Hadley for her birthday:
Thanks to my mom for watching Savannah and Hadley on Oct 14, so Tal and I could have our first date night in 3 months! We ate dinner at the Olive Garden and shared tiramisu for dessert:

Our bed broke in the middle of the night last night:

Today Savannah and Hadley "helped" Tal put our bed back together:

Our bed is sturdy again and should serve us well until we upgrade to a king size bed next year (hopefully):

Weather permitting, we will have our family pictures taken at a local park on Saturday. Our color scheme will be pink and navy:
