Everyday Moments

Life...unedited.
These random iPhone photos are dark, blurry, and untouched,
but they capture everyday moments from June and July that I want to remember forever.

Playing in our living room

Tal snapped this picture the night before our new sectional was delivered.
He thought it was hilarious that we each had our own chair and blanket:

At the end of June, the girls and I had a playdate with my friend Amanda and her son Tyson.
Tyson and Savannah wore space helmets at Homegoods:

Savannah drove a race car at Homegoods:

Savannah took a nap after her last day of 1st grade. She fell asleep with her glasses in her hand:

Hadley wore Tal's painting shirt, so she wouldn't get watermelon stains on her shirt:

Savannah got comfy in the bonus room while she watched a movie with Tal before bedtime:

Savannah and Hadley are staying with Grandma Barbara at the beach this week.
Thanks to Grandma, Uncle Benny, and Aunt EJ for texting me the pics below.
These cute cousins (Savannah (7), Harper (3), and Hadley (21 months) are ready to go swimming in Uncle Benny and Aunt EJ's pool:

Hadley is ready to go swimming!

Boating and swimming in the Sound with Uncle Benny

Savannah drove Uncle Benny's boat back to the marina:

On a sad note, last night Tal and I watched as firefighters put out a house fire in our neighborhood. This house is 7 houses down the street from ours. The family was eating dinner at home when the fire started. Thankfully, they got out safely after a neighbor pounded on their door and told them their house was on fire. The mom is a teacher at my school. The daughter is a student at my school. The family has a long, uncertain road ahead of them, but our school and community are supporting them during this tragedy.
